DECEMBER 13, 1975, THE CAROLINA TIMES - 7 A & T ALUMNI SPONSORS BLUE AND GOLD GAME The Durham chapter of the A&T Alumni Association recently sponsored the A&T basketball team in a Blue and Gold game. The event has become an annual affair for the group. The game was played at the Shepard Jr. High gym and featured the defending MEAC visitation and tournament champions. The game is intended to give the local alumni a chance to preview the team and also give the team a chance to scrimmage. Thanksgiving Program Held At Ebenezer A special Thanksgiving program was held at the Ebenezer Baptist Church on Thanksgiving Day at 11 a.m. The program was sponsored by the Ebenezer Choral Ensemble. Miss Fern Gunn was the Mistress of Ceremony. Mrs. Louise Gooche was the speaker for the affair. Her topic was ' Think and Be Thankful". A special offering was collected and given to a needy family in the Durham community. Special musical selections were performed by the Choral Ensemble. The affair was well attended and the audience participated in expressing their thanks and gratitudes.
