HEAD COACH WILLIE SMITH: never predict numbers, but it is known what We are
shooting for. I always say to the guys that we are good enough to think and believe that
we can get there., A lot of teams come to camp and don't even think they can get there
(championship), Sothey don't try. S9 we are that good. We believe that we can get there.
CHARLES ARMWOOD, QUARTERBACK: I think we have a good chance of taking the ,
whole thing. Everybody is enthused and working together We have an explosive offense.
; ft can strike at any time. Our fine running backs are returning, along with our receivers.
' and we have some freshmen who can help us. . , ;
REGINALD SMITH, WIDE RECEIVER: The team has a good chance of winning the
MEAC. I am going to try to improve my contribution to the team over last year. More
.receptions, blocking, and yardage on passes per game, reading the defense are the
Strengths I want to contribute. I want to be better than last year.
