' 'v " ZAFA COURT NO. 41, DAUGHTERS OF ISIS HOLDS THANKSGIVING SERVICE AND FEAST OF ISIS , ; Vv- On Sunday, May 20 the Daughters of Isis observed their annual Thanksgiving Service at Russell Memorial CME Church. The Nobles of Zafa Temple No. 196, also turned out to lend their support to the daughters. The official ritualistic ceremony was performed with Dt. Rosalee Sharpe, Illustrious Commandress, presiding. . Following the church worship service, the daughters and nobles gathered at the temple on South Alston Avenue for the Feast of Isis, which is always a festive occasion. While the Feast was taking place, the daughters presented a short program commemorating the celebration. Appearing on the program were: Daughters Doris Holland, Rebecca Peterson, Beatrice Burnett, Violet Rogers, and Noble Joseph Gooch, Il lustrious Potentate of Zafa Temple No. 176. Dt. Rosalee Sharpe served as mistress of ceremonies, and also introduced the officers and members of the Ad visory Board. The Chantresses presented a beautiful musical rendition which everyone enjoyed. After a full day of activities and wholesome fellowship, the daughters and nobles departed for their homes, bringing to a close another memorable .Thanksgiving Service and Feast of Isis. Dt. Pearl George served as chairperson of the Feast, and Dt. An drew Bell Cobb served as co-chairperson. llanpton Inst.
