The excur sion was sponsored by the Orange County Chapter, of the A&T Alumni Association. Upon arrival on the campus, the director of admissions welcomed the group and gave an over view of the activities plan ned for the day. In small groups, led by A&T University' , student tour guides, the students took a walking tour of the cam pus. The morning activities ended with a tour of the African Heritage Center on the campus and lunch. Deans of the schools of Business and Economics, Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, and Engineering discussed and, answered questions about programs offered in each school, admission re- quirements, and financial and employment oppor tunities. I Two honor students in the School of Business! and Economics shared infor mation about student organizations and employ ment opportunities in their departments. Information about financial aid, housing, and admission re quirements, presented by Dean Gamble, director of admissions,' culminated the afternoon sessions. Following the afternoon sessions, some students visited the dorms and talk ed with A&T students while others viewed a series of one-act plays dealing . with black heritage in the Paul Robeson Theater located on the campus. Dinner and shopping at the Four Seasons Mall en sued. In the evening, free basketball tickets donated by the A&T Athletic Department allowed the students and their chaperons to see the last home game of the season.
