BLOOMSBURY FILM FESTIVAL - A series
of interviews with Virginia Woolfs friends and
relatives; among them Leonard Woolf and Duncan
Grant, is the feature film in a Bloomsbury Film
Festival to be held free of charge in the Gross
Chemistry Auditorium on Duke's West Campus. 1-5
p.m. on Sunday. October 25. Four films will be
shown and discussed, two on Virginia Woolf and two
on E.M. Forster.
This event is part of the series entitled "The Many
Faces of Bloomsbury.' co-sponsored by the Duke
University Office of Continuing Education and the

THE DURHAM AMERICAN RED CROSS -
offers free monthly blood pressure screening and
education clinics at its center. 1000 E. Forest Hills
Blvd. Red Cross volunteer nurses provide this ser
vice which is open to all ages. The regular screening
day has been changed to the third Thursday in each
month, except in October, for the remainder of this
year. Hours are 10 a.m. -2 p.m. October 29.

Mental Health Center will address the membership of
the Mental Health Association. The meeting will be

4-H LEADERS CONVENTION - Durham
County's volunteer 4-H leaders have the opportunity
to share ideas with others from across the state at the
North Carolina Volunteer 4-H Leaders' Association
Convention October 24-25 in Raleigh.
During the convention at the McKimmon Center
on the N.C. State University .campu. delegates will
attend workshops, view exhibits and displays and
talk with leaders in different 4-H projects.
Any 4-H volunteer leader is eligible and encourag
ed to attend. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Satur
day. October 24. and. will end before noon on Sun
day. Registration fee is $8 which includes a registra
tion packet.' the luncheon and social on Saturday.
