' 3 eggs, separated - ' - ' V cup butter or margarine 1 tablespoon chopped green onion i teaspoon salt , ' In bowl, combine cornmeal and boiling water; stir until smooth. Stir in soup, cream, cheese, egg yolks, butter, onion and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into cornmeal mixture. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Makes 8 servings. Double Burgers With .Barbecue Sauce 2 pounds ground beef r I teaspoon salt Generous dash pepper 8 thin slices cucumber .8 thin slices onion V cup chopped celery 1 large clove garlic, minced 2 tablespoons butter or amrgarine 1 can (10H oz.) Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup XA cup water V cup chopped chow chow (relish) 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire 6 drops hot pepper sauce Combine beef and sesasonings. Shape into 16 thin patties. On half of the patties, place a cucumber and onion slice. Top with remaining pat ties and seal edges. Meanwhile, in saucepan, cook celery with garlic in butter until tender. Add re maining ingredients. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until desired doneness, turning and basting with sauce every 5 minutes. Serve with re maining sauce.
