Hamilton, pastor, Tabernacle Baptist Church, Augusta, Ga., will conduct the service. Rev. Qavis was nominated pastor of the church l. in September'and assumed the pastorate on October 1 , succeeding retiring minister, Reverend Alexander D. Moseley. Mosdey had held the pastorate since 1962. Rev. Davis is a native of Augusta, Ga. and receiv ed his B. A. degree from Paine College; and his Master of Divinity degree from Morehouse School of Religion. He has done post graduate studies at Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Ind. Rev. Davis served as Pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Laurinburg, prior to coming to Mt. Gilead. He is married to Merrit Bostic and they are the parents of two children, Michael LeRoi and Dawn. .
