No appoint ments are necessary for parents to schedule a con ference. I’m here 95 per cent of the time, and parents are welcomed to come in anytime.” Toddler’s Academy employs 19 staff members and is licensed for 82 children. “The Center’s goal is to maintain a first- class establishment. We worked hard to get to the top, and will work as hard to stay there. 1 feel that we are good, but there’s room for improvement by keep ing up with the new developments in day care and changing with the needs of the community as well with children. ”I have spent most of my time in day care and rais ing my family,” she said. Her hobbies include “a love for jazz and symphonic music, reading and enter taining.” Mrs. Whitted is emphatic when she speaks of her career in day care. “I do love my work and I love children,” she said. “I enjoy helping people, especially senior citizens and little children.” 1 • • ir ♦ ^ Former Rep.
