The hikes will meet at Bennett Place off US 70 west of Durham. The hikes will meet at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 28; Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25. The winter hikes explore a different section of the Eno River Valley every Sunday with a variety of knowledgeable hike leaders. They go out in all kinds of weather and last about 2‘A hours. Hikers need warm clothing and sturdy shoes. The purpose of the hikes is lo xquaint hikers with the beauty of the Eno River Slate Park and with the efforts of the Eno River Association to acquire land for *e S*ate Park.
