Ralph Hunt looks forward to moving the Durham Committee on the Allairs of Black People (DCABP) ahead as he begins a two year term as chair of the organization. I lunt s term as chair of DCABP began this month when he was installed as successor to Randall M. Rogers, who moved up from first vice chair to chair and completed the term of former county commissioner Rev. Philip Cousin when Cousin was moved to California by his parent church organization about a year into his term as head of the committee. In addition to his service as a state senator and Durham Lily Council member. Hunt was appointed by the: governor to the North Carolina Utilities Commission and: served there from 1993 until 2001. His long career also includes experience as a public school teacher and as a small business owner.
