The passengers who' would have coriieta I tlie Air-Line from Atlanta had it left tbre Tuesday evening, came, to Augusta and jhence Northward via the C C. & A. R. R. While the Grand Juras examining the jail, and just as they were, leaving, one. of them, while talking to a prisoner, was; left behind and locked up. The way he scram-' bled around there and kicked up a fuss, made em tUm him out quick. We call the attention of the proper per- sons to Jhe fact that the polea which were used inthe scaffolding of the Second Pres byterian Church, having heen taken down, now occupy nearly half tfie pavement in front' of the building named. With the rain and clouds passed away also the warmth, and the weather blowing up cold about sun down, overcoat and fires, were again neces sary to comfort . ; All Right A gain The little, negro girf -who fell forty feet out of a third story window of. the Central Hotel on Tuesday' afternoon,' all right again, having been able to be up and to walk about yesterday. Through inadvertence, we fell into an er ror yesterday morning, in recording the de bate in the Y M O A, the night before, on the question as to whether or no Christians can, with propriety, -attend theatres.
