The new Mayor and Aldermen have made not a few promises to the citizens in regard to improvements on the streets and crossings. Oates, it was resolved that tho salary of the Clerk and Treasurer be fixed at $400, and that he be required to give bond in the penal sum of $5000, with security to be approved by the Board for the faithful performance of duty.
