Opera House, to use more exertion to keep
the steps and the pavement In front of the,
door, dear of the loafers wha assemble there
whenever a performance of any kind takes
place, and put themselves in tbe way oi
ladies and gentlemen. This conduct has be
come qaite a nuisance, and should not be
allowed. Boys running up and down the
steps while a performance is going on, and
whistling, is another source of great annoy
ance to an audience, particularly when a
drama is being presented, and the auditor is
anxious to calch every word. Let this be
