While no doubt was felt as to Gov. Tilden's election to the Presidency, the prospect of bis being counted out by the return ing boards of South Carolina, Florida and Louisiana, together with the object of sending troops to the two latter States, created no little anxiety. We regret that we are still unable to give the official votes of the doubtful States, but we feel confident that Mr. Tilden has been triumphantly elected as the successor to President ( Grant, and that nothing but the most stupendous frauds can cheat him out of a majority in the Electoral College. Quite a number of prominent gentlemen, as will be seen by the dispatches below, have gone to Louisiana to see the official count made, and we trust that nothing may occur there which will cause the blush of shpme to mantle the cheeks of any true American. Day Lefore yesterday Gov. Vance telegraphed to Gov. Tilden. "Whenever the election returns show yo')r election, or defeat, let me know by telegraph." Yesterday morning about 10 o'clock the following dispatcli was received in answer to the above: New Yokk, Nov. 11, 1876. "Gov. Tilden's election is ceriain, Louisiana, Florida and South Carolina 8re democratic." This dispatch was signed by Mr. Pelton, Gov Tilden's private Secretary, and must haye been sent by his direction.
