In the House, after a spirited and earnest debate this morning upon the decision of the electoral commission with respect to the vote of Florida, the House decided, by a strict party vote, that tbe finding of the commission was not correct, and that the Tilden elec ters had been elected in that Stte. The Clerk of the House was directed to inform the Senate of its action, and that it was ready to receive that body for the purpose of proceeding with the count The Senate ha"irjg appeared. Presi dent Ferry caused the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the Houie to declare what action the respective Houses had taken in regard to the de cision of the commission. This having been done, the Pres: dent of the Senate declared that both Houses, not having concurred in set ting aside the decision of the commis. sion of the vote of Florida, it would be counted for Hayes and Wheeler TheState3 of Georgia, Illinois, In diana, Iowa, Kansas and Kentucky were also counted for the respective candidates, when Louisiana was reach ed The President of the Senate handed to the tellers three certificates, two of which were in favor of the Hay ea electors, and one signed by McEnery, as Governor, m lavor 01 tno lilden 11.1 U'lUiCLllOii nivu .- - nf Mr IB G Roeers. at my oid ' stand on electors. .;, fioMttawftfiBew, wih wumuv. -.-v l 'ihere was also a ccrtincate, wnicn SSSSdi&m QW the Vice President said he had re t , 'rfT issA a rtmnWA StnCK. from tbe I naar Y.v moil nnronrl.inor tn f.iuf. x f,iS, . v J , r o of Louisiana for. Representative Springer had prepar ed objections to counting the vote o Geonre D Chaffee. 1 o J " "w has complete evidence that Chaffee held office when he cast his rote, but was informed that a case equally as clear from Louisiana would be present ed to the Commission and would thus obtain a decision by the Commssion and alterwards by the two houses. It was feared that the Senate might refuse to sustain the objection, and thus in fluence the Commission, hence Mr Springer by the advice and approba tion of his friends withhold the objec tion. The Electoral Commission was called to order at 4 o'clock and received cer tificates and accompanying papers in the Louisiana - case.
