A very large sun spot was seen from
the Harvard College observatory Tues
day, visible with the naked eye. In the
opinion of observers this verifies the
theory that magnetic and electrical dis

day between the State auditor of Ken
tucky and a committee of, the Kentuc

tbe distillers will act as the n gents of
the auditor for the collection of the tax
on bonded whisky owned by non-residents,
which' the Supreme court of Ken
tucky has decided to be subject to State
and county taxation.
