Stewart, which occurred ill his home al S13 Sum mit, avenue shortly after 6 o'clock. The funeral will take place from the resi dence at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Mr. .Stewart's health had been bad all of the year and death whs caused from r. complication of diseases. He had been confined to his bed for six or ciRht weeks, and life had been huiiKiiiK by a, slender thread for several days. Mr.' Slewart is survived hy a widow and live daughters, two of them married.1 their husbands beliiK Messrs. Haymon ; Alfonso, of New York, and J. L. Rit-i ter, of this' city. Mr. Stewart was a! valued and hikhly esteemed citizen.
