Messrs. Patton and Olive rut ur a good tight and -won. The Richmond speaker had good speech'-s, they were, well written, but the de livery; was poor. The debate was de layed ft! order that a music rack might le secured for the Richmond men to place : their speeches on so that they could rea4 them. If the speeches hnd been spoken Instead of being read they would have had more weight. The- large crowd that went from here to the debate returned yesterday lnornlng about 2 o'clock on the special train.
