In Superior Court to-day Frank Abbott secured a Judg meat agalnat the Atlantic Coast Line Railway Company for $2,000. 'Abbott Is a young man who, on November 1. 1904, wm thrown under a train of the defendant company by a negro, who has served V term In the penitentiary for his act. Abbott subsequently brought suit agalnat the company, charging in the complaint that the train was exceeding the speed ordin ance, going within the city limits at the rate of six miles an hour while the ordinance limits them to four miles. To-morrow the case of Hill vs. the Atlantic & North Carolina Rallwav Company will be tried, Great inter est will be taken In this case, as It Is an attempt to annual the lease and put It back In the entire control of the State.
