W. Cobb, at tho court house, yester day afternoon at 3.0 o'clock. The contracting parties were Mr. Duncan Hams, of Barnwell county, S. C.v and Mis tola M. Moon, of ScottavHle, Va. . The couple met in the city yeater day morning. At J:3 o'clock they went to the office of the register of deeds and secured a marriage license. Mr. Sums aakd where the services of the magistrate might be had. He re turned to the court house a little later and made an appointment with '3qulre Cobb, and at 8:30 o'clock the couple appeared. . Tho wedding ceremony was pet formed In the little white-washed of fice of the magistrate, in the base ment of the court house. The wit nesses were , an Observer reporter, 'Squire H.C Severe and one or two Others. The bride Is an attractive young woman of 22 years of age. She was becomingly gowned In a traveling suit of green cloth, with hat and gloves to match. She ' was slightly above the average helghth of her nf.x and was good looking.
