' Special to The Observer. I Asheville. Feb. 15. The end of the much talked of Featherston mmuU case was had in Superior Court this morning;. when Judge AUen fined Mr. Featherston $l3 and costs. The case, as docketed, read "State vs. A. A. mtilhanitnn jmaault." It W8 the OUt- come of an affair involving the oldest saloon keeper in Asheville and Mrs. Kate Wiggins; of the Salvation Army. The case was called in the city police court and Judge Jones declined to try the case bv reason of the fact that he was one of the counsel for Mr. Featherston" s sault.
