Mel lon, who died Friday morning, was held at the residence, at o'olock yes terday afternoon. Dr. J. R. Howerton conducted the services, and the Ma sons were In charge of the ceremonies at the house and at the cemetery. A large crowd of representative men and women of the city went to the home and from there followed the remains to the grave. A great wealth of flowers were contributed by loving friends.
