Cunningham, president of the North Carolina, Tobacco Grow ers' Association, says last week's frosts damaged the crop In plant buds and fields about 10 per cent. It chows that to date the Ht ate hit appropriated It. 004 for surh llhrarlas. of which 111.10 haa been expended, that 1. 100 libraries have been provided for and I.SII established; lhat 7 coun ties have one or mrr such libraries; that 21 counties have the full number. 1, of auch libraries. No count la without a library. For supplement ary libraries the Htate has appropri ated 11. 000, of which 11.015 haa been expended. A thousand supplementary libraries have been provided for and .201 established. (4 of the counties having one or more of these, and II counties bavins, none.
