Malone, who .had been wired for, met him at Norllna. upon er rival here, seeing- his condition, the big-hearted physician had him taken to. his own home where he had every attention that human hands could render, but to no avail, aa he . waa unconscious and quietly breathed hi last at ;0s p. m. at Dr. Ma lone a real dence, surrounded by friends and the faithful physicians. July 10.- Wal ter Ballenger will not be tried at the present term of Court of Session. which began Monday morning, on tne charge of bufglary, as he has escaped from the county Jail. Ballonger was committed on the charge of entering coan k uuerry s store at weurora and obtaining possession of a large amount of general merchandise. He began to plan how to escape from Jail and also avoid trial and possible conviction and one day recently took advantage , of an opportunity to escape, climbed down in elevator shaft and from tne ground noor of the Jail It was an easy matter to make hla. way to the el reel and to green field far away. Effort to appre hend him have so far been fruitless and it Is not likely that he will be on hand when hla case Is called tor trial.
