Wilson, In which Mr.-lmpson sued Mr. Wilson for 1 30, alleging that the defendant shot and killed three hogs that be longed to him (Simpson). During the - hearing of . the . case things became a little warm and one could see that but an extra spark was needed to make trouble. The magistrate sent the civil suit up to the Superior Court and court was ad journed. Two minutes later W. D. Simpson, who had appeared as a wit ness for Mr, R. JL. Simpson, and 'Mqulrc Mungo, who had been sum moned to appear as a witness for Mr. Wilson, engaged In a controversy. Scarcely half a dozen words were spoken on either side before Simpson, who claimed that the 'squire nad called him "a d n liar," sprang at him and the scrap started. Three constables and two or three by-stand-ers were required to separate the to men, both of whom are large of frame and strong.
