Ho will leave here Sunday night to Join the New York team In New Orleans YOUTHFUL CRIMINALS, THESE. Escape From County Home, But Arc Caught and Taken Back. Special to Tho Observer. Ashevllle. March 20.-Wlsa Wllllums and Alvln Owens, the pair of youthful criminals who yesterday morning left the county home and work houe. where they had been sent for a term of 12 months, have, tern recaptured and again ftlacad in the county home. The escap ng "desperadoes" were captured by Commissioner Charles N. Parker, who, upon sight, recognized tho boys, and took them into custody. It is Chair man Reed's determination to send the boye to the convict camps If they agnln attempt to escape from the county home. Owing to their fender years It was thought best to confine them at the home and told that good woman In ef be 'good" they will be put in stripes and made to do time on the roads of tho county. Before taking their departure yesterday morning the two boys very considerately went to the matron of the home and told that koori woman In ef fect that they had grown restless: that tbey had heurd the call of the city and the "glided palace of sport," and that they had come to tell her good-bye. With this frank, farmal statement the pair of youthful criminals turned on their heels, calmly walked away from the Institution and, as they disappeared over the brow of the hill, the matron telephoned to Sheriff Hunter that the boys had gone. They are back at the home again. How long will they stay? Tbnt Is a question. If they don't stay there they will go to the chain gang and be compelled to serve the county as common convicts for a term of fully a year. Messrs J. M rtlulr and J. E. Stew art, of Monroe, were In town yester day, stopping at the Buford. Mr. W. A. Bristol, of Sfntesvllle, vaa registered at tho Buford last night. To Owners of Bad Breath Foul Odor of Indigestion.
