That the license imposed under the revenue .ordinance of the board of aldermen of the city of Charlotte for the year 1908 shall con tinue in force until the 30th of June, 1907. at which date the rates of taxes and licenses Imposed in this ordinance shall go Into effect, and it shall be unlawful for the city tax collector to issue licenses under the rates imnos ed In said revenue ordinance of 190S after the 80th .day of June, 1907. And all licenses issued during the month of June, 1907, shall cover the month of June, 1907, and expire June 80, Sec 2. (a) That the year referred to in this ordinance shall begin July 1, 1907, and end June 30. 1908. (b) The quarters referred to in this ordi nance shall begin and end as follows: The first quarter begins July 1, 1907, and ends September 30, 1907; second quarter October 1, 1907, and ends De cember 31. 1907; third quarter be gins January 1, 1908, and ends March 31, 1908; fourth quarter begins April 1, 1908, and ends June 30, 1908. Sec, 27. That this ordinance shall go into effect July 1, A. D. 1907, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the ordinances are hereby repealed. , , , Sec. 28.
