The streets have already been turned over to the firemen ani the many things to amuse the large crowds which will be here Friday and Saturday are arriving dally and some are already In commission and doing business. Among the amusements are a. ferris wheel, merry-go-round, klU- the-coon, knoei-down-the-baoies. Maud-the-klcklng-mule, punching machine, striking anvils,, palmists for tune teller, photographer! tents, etc. There vwlll also be plenty of rubber balls, confetti, etc., foot racea, soda water, watermelon and pie contests, v The greatest attraction for Friday and Saturday will be the balloon as cension. Professor Casselo .-, will r as cend into the clouds and make daring leaps and descend to 'the ground nce Friday and twice Saturday.. The bal loon ascensions . attractej - much at tention last year and were the cause of many people's coming to town. Another Intereatln attraction will be "Llttte Ina'" Brewer, one of the small est women In the country. Miss xna 1s a daughter of Mr. J.- P.. Brewer, of Alexander county, -and was aere'wltn a Tarnlval some years ago. She Is now at her home in 1 Alexander , but will arrive hero with her father in a few days. They doliate prizes to the firemen ;to be given to the man bringing the larg est melon to town, the prettiest lady in town, the oldest and youngest Con federate veterans. In town,' the oldest voman. . the man with the prettiest horse, etc. Quite a large number of prices has already ben donated.' - This Everybody's Day , . celebration and Iredell home-coming have been an annual event for several - years.'
