It Is gratifying Indeed to note that North Carolina's historical exhibit at the Jamestown Exposition was award ed one of the, medals for this Very tmportant class of exhibits. Our ex hibit would . not have been -possible except for the generous aid of the United Daughters -of the American Revolution, and no one person de serves more credit for Its success than does Mrs. J. .Lindsay .Patterson, of this city, who was chairman of the. committee, having the exhibit in chr.rge. By the same order the government states that no, cocaine or alcohol was found in the analysis by the Agri cultural Department, The report further states that the original order prohibiting t?he sale of coca-cola in post 'exchange was based On information" which later, by a careful analysis, was proved to be Incorrect.
