The prot tU-st marriage that possibly ever oc curred la Rutherfordton was that of Dr. Montgomery Herman Biggs, of the Rutherford Hospital, and Mlsu Mary Pepper Norris, of Philadelphia, which was solemnized in St. r ancls- cnurcn yesterday at 12 o'clocknoon. The handsome Mono structure waa beautifully decorated in green and white and it never looked prettier than on this occasion. The arrange ment was indeed moat appropriate In every detail. Long before the ap pointed hours the people began gaui eriny to witness the lntrestlng event and the church waa filled to overflow- ng, many failing to gain admittance Promptly at the announced ftour the bridal party arrived and entered the ohurch to the strains of Mendels ohn's "Wedding March," exquisitely rendered by Miss Myra Grayson on the violin, accompanied by Miss Gray son.
