Harris had a narrow escape from death yesterday after noon while out driving with Mrs. Har ris and one of his children. He was driving his handsome new horse, when he met Dr. J. N. Hester's automo bile. The horse had before shown a slight dislike for the machine and Dr. Hester had brought it to a stop, when Mr. Harris stood up In his bug gy in an effort to force it bv The. norse made a sudden lunge, and he was thrown violently from the buggy to the ground. His wounds were thought to consist only of a badly lacerated face, and a severe shock which resulted from the fall. So far there have been no Indications that he has been Internally Injured.
