Head of the American Tobacco Com. pany to Return North This Morning Entertained at Dinner. Mr. J. B. Duke, head of the Ameri can Tobacco Company, and chief sup porter or the Southern Power Com pany, will return to New York this morning after a visit of two days In the city. Mr. Duke came South as previously stated, for the purpose of witnessing the first revolutions of the monster water wheels at the Rocky Creek station of the Southern Power Company and incidentally confer with the local officers regarding develop ment plans under way. Friday night he was the guest of honor at a dinner given by the Commercial Club In the banquet hall of the Southern Manu facturers Club.
