Mr. Robert J. Groves, who had been In declining health for two or three years, died here this afternoon at 4 o'clock. About ten days ago he was taken critically ill and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Groves was 38 years old and a aon of Mr. R. A. Groves, of Lowell, and for several years wag in the em ploy of the Southern Railway. He Is survived by his wife and two or three children and the following brothers and sisters: Messrs. Dave and John Oroves. of Lowell; Mr. J. A Groves, of Albemarle; Mrs. Maggy Gooche, of Aahevllle, and Mrs. Delia Smith, of Wilmington.
