So Mr. Isaac GvaVenhelm Says For Ute New )Era of American prosper Ity. The following Is from s recent Is sue of The Evening Journal of Jer sey City, containing an Interview with the well-known capitalist, Mr. Isaac Guggenheim: "The United States Is on the very threshold of the most prosperous era in Its history. Within the next six months, barring any untoward clr cumstances, the depression which has hung ' over this country since the panic of 190? will have completely disappeared. . "All Europe Is looking toward tne United States to lead the way In a prosperity era that will extend to ev ery corner of the globe. The conn dence of Europeans In America baa apparently been shaken not one whit by the recent depression In this coun try. On the contrsry. they are wait lngr only for. the reaction, which they are .certain will carry everything with It. "Europe, with ihe - exception of France, has always been fairly friend ly to American securities. The French people, however, have more than nv ed up to their reputation of being the thriftiest and shrewdest In the world when approached In reference to any American securities. They! too, however, are beginning to loek with kindness on American stocks and -bonds. "European business men are as un like the business men of the United States as black Is unlike white. They are conservative to the point of reck lessness. The average business man of Europe marvels , at the business man of America. He does not approve of our methods, yet he has unbound ed confidence In our ability to extri cate ourselves from any situation in which we may find ourselves. "The European business man could no more succeed in this country than he could fly wrthout wings on an aeroplane. And, on the other hand, it Is not at all certain that the Amer ican business man -court completely succeed abroad. With his revolution ary methods he certainly woyjd not De welcome. "But the European Is perfectly ready to follow the lead of the men of this country. Where he dares to rush in they dare to follow. "It is this very confidence of Eu rope In America, however, that has materially aided us In rising above the depression in which we have been for the past two years. The material support American securities have re ceived and will receive lu the future broad has been the support they most needed at the present time." IIOOSKVELT IS HESTING.
