Lee Desires a Doien 'Pos sums for Billy Tsft Float. R. A. Lee, who has charge of the Billy Taft float in she parade Thurs day Is in somewhat of a quandary about his supply . of 'possums. He thought that he bad them fixed but it has developed that they have re solved themselves into thin air. In other -words that they have taken French leave of him. All of this how ever, is merely introductory to the statement that he- is exceedingly anx ious for an even dozen of the nerft--famous marsupials for a artistically constructed and novel float for the grand parade On President's Day. Any-one having any 'possums in their possession or who knows where they can be secured, will confer a favor on Mr. Lee 1 fthey will notify him at once. . . A new Industry for Charlotte is the Electric Renovator Company, which has just been organised and has of fices at No. 1& South Church street. This company is doing a general house cleaning business in the city and has the agency in North and South Caro lina for the famous "Invincible" eleO' trie renovators manufactured by the Electric Renovator Manufacturing Company, of Pittsburg, Pa. The con cern has purchased two of these re no vators with which to do cleaning. These modern vacuum renovators re move all the dirt from a room with out raising the awful dust housekeep ers have to contend with when they do their spring cleaning. The advisability of such a method of cleaning was heartily endorsed at a recent meeting of the civics section of the Woman's Club of Charlotte The city has long needed such a con cern and it is to be hoped that It will enjoy the patronage of the people of the town who enjoy absolutely clean nouses.
