Neal. of Bessemer City, who will continue the business. Mr. W. C. Hartzoge, who has been general manager of the Piedmont Mill at Crouse, has re signed to accept a similar posi tion with the Lenoir Mills, at Lenoii X. C. Joe West, one of the inmates of the county home, died last Sunday eveirng, March 6th, ajred 89 y?ars, Mr. West was the son of a Revolutionary sold ier: and was, perhaps, one of the ast sons of the American Revo ution in the State. Mis. Nancy Francis Robison died at the home 01 her son, Mr. H. S. Robinson, last Sunday morning, as he was neat ing her 6Sth birthday. She has been in ill health for a number ot years.
