ANNUAL STATEMENT OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF 'BURKE COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING NOV. 30TH, 1915. The Board of Commissioners of Burke county submit the following statement of the financial affairs of the county for the year ending November 30th, 1915. Exhibit A shows the receipts and disbursement, regular fund. Exhibit B shows current expenses, including interest and bonds. Exhibit C shows resources, property and indebtedness. Exhibit. D shows warrants issued during year. The statement shows that there are outstanding warrants amounting to $4,799.92, of which amount $1,347.09 was carried forward from previous years. The increase in expenses was caused by the assessment of taxes ; increase in expense of burial of ex-Confederate soldiers, of books, stationery and advertising expense, the recording of vital statistics and of the Morganton Township Tax, and act to pay to the Confederate monument two hundred and fifty dollars each year.
