HARNEtT COUNTY NEWS NORTH CAROLINA HARNETT COUNTY. IN THE SUPERIOR COURT. NOTICE OP SUMMONS. Tomlinson & Company, Inc. Geo. Ham. The defendant above named will take notice that an action entitled as above has been commenced in the Superior Court of Harnett County for the purpose of foreclosing a chattel mortgage made by the defendant to the plaintiff on the 1st day of March, 1920, and apply the personal prop erty therein described, to-wit, one black, mare mule about 8 years old, one bay mare mule about 5 year old, and one Piedmont Thimble Skein Wagon, to the satisfaction of the note and indebtedness secured by said chattel mortgage. And the defendant will further take notice that he is required to appear in the Clerk's Office of the Superior Court of Harnett County,. in Lillington, N. C, on the 10th day of January, 1921, and answer or demur to the complaint in said action -which has filed therein, or the plain tiff will apply to the Court for the relief demanded in said complaint. a. a. NOTICE OF PURCHASE OP IiAND AT TAX SALE Whereas, at a sale of property for taxes conducted by the Sheriff of Harnett County at the courthouse door in Lillington, N. C, on the 3rd day of May, 1920, Raymond Rosser, the undersigned, became the last and highest bidder for, the ,215 acres of land in Upper Little River township. Harnett County, listed in the name of Mrs. G. P. Mlmms, for the sum of $25.46, being the taxes assessed for the year 1919; and whereas, the said Raymond Rosser on that date re ceived a certificate of sale from .the Sheriff of Harnett County; and whereas, the owner's time for re demption of said . property is therein named the 3rd day of May, 1921. this is to give notice that unless the same is duly redeemed before the 3rd day of May. 1921, the under signed will apply to the Sheriff foa a tax deed for said property. Notice is hereby given that under and by. virtue of the power of sale contained in a certain mortgage deed dated December 24th. 1919, and made by J. W. Tutor and wife, Min. nie Tutor, to R. H. The old members, J. D. Barnes, chairman. J. C. Byrd, W. J. Use Stewart. R. T. Johnson. D. P. Ray. ordered that Sheriff McArtan collect taxes without penalty until notified by the board to tack on the "per cent." It was decided also.
