i t - Bicycle Hack Splendid Running, - One of the events of this season was the bicycle race between the great cham , pin Mr. Polhill of Georgia, and Mr. Max well of Charlotte, which occurred Satur day night at the Farmers' Warehouse A large crowd was in attendance. : r Three races, of a mile dash, were run, Polhill winning two out of three, the latter making his last mile in 4.08, 2d lat to the mile. Uoth races were sup erb, and altogether the affair was a most pleasant one. - .-. T To-morrow night, at the samo place, wilt le given another by Messrs. Polhill and Maxwell. Also, a race between Mr. Asbury of Charlotte, and Mr: Stelfner ol Asheville. for a cold medal.
