They recently subscribe ed enough to build a handspme brick academy, and work open it commenced this week, under the supervision of Mr. A. S. Bryson whose broad shoulders and excellent judgment are always put to good and useful enterprises. Mr; T. B. Cary, well known in our community, has charge of the brick work. The citiz ens also, recently, subscribed liberally for the establishment of a newspaper, which we hope soon to welcome to this superior field for good journalistic work. ibeir churches are new and excellent buildings, and, always well attended.
