Report on Army's Inefficiency Will Cause a Sweeping Investigation. v Washington, August 24. Much ment waS caused among the war partment officials by-the publication of an alleged interview with General Miles charging Secretary Alger and Adjutant General Corbin with insufficient admin istration of the war and for garbling despatches sent by Miles to Washing ton.
