Everything is in readiness for the Christian ndeav'or Sitate convention to be held in Raleigh next week. April 26 29, and evey indication is that this -will be in every way an, interesting and helpful convention. It was my privilege to be in Raleigh last week in the interest of the conven tion . Many of the merchants, all whom I had time to see, willingly consented to use the Christian Endeavor state col ors in 'the decoration of their places of business during the convention so we look for an elaborate display of green, yellow and white during those days. ROBERT LYTLE DEAD His Body Found in Cherokee County Indians Arrested cn Suspicion It was learned from a brother of the deceased who was in the city Thurs day that Rovert Lytle, of Fairview, was killed several days ago. He was in the logging business near the Ten nessee line. It was known that he was on his way home for a visit, rid ing horseback. Some persons found a horse grazing with a saddle on near the Cherokee county line, and on fur ther search found the dead body ,of Lytle lying hidden in a thicket with brush piled over him. His clothing was all gone. He had about $300 in money, a gold watch and two revolv ers when he started. Two Inuians have been arrested on suspicion. It is said that the deed was commi'tteu by men at the camp, who knew Lytle started out with this money, and that they are arousing suspicion against the Indians to divert it tfr rn themselves .
