We cannot any more have the toeneflt of his helpful leadership, tout It Is just cause for the most sincere congratula tion that we find one altogether worthy to ibe his successor In the Derson of Theodore Roosevelt. He may be less patient and more aggressive, tout in in tellectual endowment, in scholarly cul ture, in toroad minded Americanism, in integrity of character and in patriotic purpose he has never been excelled toy any occupant of the white house.
