The will of the late Thomas D. John ston is on file in the Superior court clerks office. The property is estimated to be worth nearly $250,000 and is willed to his two daughters, Misses Lelia and S. Eugenia Johnston. Miss Lelia Male Johnston is made the co-executor of her father's estate with Howard B. Carlisle. Miss Eugenia Johnston being a minor, Capt. W. T, Weaver is appointed her guardian. The will bears the date of June 17, 1902. It was made only six days before Cap tain Johnston's death. Among other provisions contained in the will is one that a etone or marble monument be erected over the grave of the late Mrs. Thomas D. Johnston, also that the estate of the deceased be kept as nearly as (possible as it is now; that an appropriation from year to year be made for improving and building up the lots owned by the deceased, and now unimproved, lying on Patton avenue.
