TRIAL OF DAUGHERTY FOR HAMBY'S MURDER Then tlu Liquor Cases, ami After These, Perhaps, the Oilier Case of lioniuide. Yesterday it was stated that there are four murder or manslaughter eases on the criminal docket of Supe rior court for the coming term, but as a matter of fact there are five, as there is a charge of manslaughter against Crawford Plemmons for kill ing little Llnwood Bell a few days ago in an automobile accident. According to the urrnnKements of Solicitor Rey nolds it is doubtful if more than one or two of these cases is reached, as there will be only two weeks of court. Me announces it as his intention to ake up the Jail cases first, t!iose cases n which the defendants are in prison. nJ he thought there would he about 0 of these before court convenes. Among the first of these to be taken p. he said, would be that against rank Huberts, who in charged with mbezzling. After the Jail cases are disposed of he case against Ijiwson Daugherty, harged with the murder of Milton Hamby. will be heard and following hat, the whiskey cases against George Cathey, P. H. Thrash and V. H. Souther; then the other cases confin ed from the last case of the term of ourt. If these are finished the new cases, which the defendants are out on bond, will be tried and then the re maining murder or manslaughter cases.
