Louis, ' where they went last week to confer with E. W. Grove concerning the plans for the building of a tourist, hotel at the foot of Sunset mountain. W. F. Ran dolph, who preceded them to St. Louis, returned with the committee. Nothing was given out as to the re sult of the St. Louis conference, fur ther thHri that the details of the plan were discussed. No legal action was taken in drawing up an agreement and it is stated that none can be taken until the committee makes a report of the proceedings in St. Louis to thej bodies here It represented the boards of directors of the various banks of I the city. However, it may be said I that they are quite sanguine over the prospects for a new hotel for Awhe ville. There is every reason to be lieve that Asheville interests will lend! whatever co-operation may be de sired. It will be recalled that an outline oi the proposition as advanced by Mr. Grove was published in The Gazette News last week. Thisproposition was to the effect that if the local banks would take over $100,000 in bonds of a $250,000 Issue which .Mr. Grove pur posed making, the hotel would be built. A committee of Asheville men was asked to go to St. Louis at once to confer with Mr. Grove and as a re sult the above named committee went on the following day. The report of the committee will be made this week. fujil is the force that keeps the nerves well noised and controls firm, strong -' muscles. r Men and women who do the world's work can avoid Brain-fag and guard their health by feed ing brain and body with Scott's Emulsion : U.
