One of the hardest tests to which a car or its size nas even been -put was by nn R. C. H. "25" roadster on the Pacific coast, ' The schedule covered 3000 miles In 16 days over all of northern Callfor nla, Including some of the roughest roads and mountain passes in that section. The object of the trip was to arouse enthusiasm - throughout the state over the coming Panama-Pacific exposition,- and spread the exposition spirit broadcast. Enthusiastic crowds witnessed the departure of the cor and wished it good luck on Its Journey. Many there were who predicted that It would never be able to finish in anywhere near schedule time, for this certainly called for some pretty stiff driving. One of the hardest stretches of the entire route was the crossing of the famous Tehachapl pass. Ordinarily this would hnve been considered an Impossibility for a ear of its size and weight, but the R. C. H. went over It with ease. - .
