The following announcement, taken from the Weekly True Democrat of interest In Mrs. Asheville, as W. T. Morgan, a proml- after November first .Asheville, N. C. at K Stikeleather Beadle V Miss Mary Stikeleather, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fergus Stikeleather,' and granddaughter of the late Judge E. J. Aston and Mrs. Aston, was united In marriage last evening with Nicholas N. Beadles, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Beadle of this" city. Rev. " Dr. Charles W. Byrd of Greensboro offici ating. The wedding occurred & the home of the bride's parents. In Aston place, and the guests attending "were restricted exclusively to mentbers Of the Immediate families and a few close friends. The residence was beautiful ly decorated, the spacious hall being arranged with an improvised altar in the rear, before which the ceremony was performed. The altar " was cov ered with white satin and adorned with candles and white chrysanthe mums. Preceding the f bridal '"party and strewing rose petals in their path way, came little Miss Ruth Lane Stike leather,! followed by the two brides maids, Miss Catherine Beadles, only sister of the groom, and Miss Cath erine Mason. Next came the bride on ; the arm of her fathr, who gave her! in marriage, the party being met at! the altar by Mrs. Beadles, attended byi his best man, Lee Ellis. Miss Stike- leather's gown was exquisite, being of Dutchess satin and point lace with a bridal veil of soft tulle held in place with sprays of orange blossoms and caught with a butterfly bow of bril liants. Her fine figure and graceful bearing were particularly well set off j by the becoming qualities of her bridal robes. She carried orchids and lilies of the valley. Miss Mason was gowned ' in embossed yellow chiffon over white j fur and gold bead work; and Miss' Beadles appeared in haad-embroidered ' yellow chlfton over yellow satin lace j encrusted with metal beads and gold 1 thread with a bit of ermine complet- j ing her costume. Tellow and white chrysanthemums were carried by Miss Mason and Miss Beadles. Mr. and j mts. James u. stikeleather sang charmingly the wedding march, "Faithful and True." Following the ceremony was a reception, at which the bridal couple. Mr. and Mrs. Fer gus Stikeleather, Mrs. E. J. Aston, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Readies and Mrs. Charles W. Byrd composed the receiv ing line. Mrs. Gillllund Stikeleather and Mrs. Leslie Snow served punch.
