Be it Ordained, by the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Charlotte, That in future, no one shall carry concealed about his person within the corporate limits of said town, any Pistol, Bowie-knife, or other un lawful weapon. And any person violating this Ordin ance shall, upon conviction before the Intendant, pay a fine of Ten dollars for each and every such weapon so carried as aforesaid; and if the offender be a minor his parent or guardian shall pay said fine, and the Inten dant i9 hereby authorized to render a judgment against the parent or guardian for said fine.
