What js the world to them, Its pomp its pleasure, and its nonsense all, Who in each other clasp wnuiever High fancy lorms, or lavish hearts can wish 1 A Good Comparison. The Rev. William Roulatt, a well-known Methodist clergyman, residing at Naples, draws the following amusing but apt comparison be tween Dr. M'Lane's celebrated Vermifuge and a fenet : A ferret, w hen placed at the entrance ot a rat-hole, enters the aperture, travels along the passage, seizes upon the rat, exterminates his existence, and draws the animal's defunct carcass M the light. And in like man nerhave I found Dr. AT Lane's American Vrtmifiige to op erate upon worms, those dreadful tormentors of childien. This remedy, like the ferret, enters the aperture of ihe mouth travels down the gullet, hunts round the stomach, lays hold ot the wormw, shakes the hie out of the reptiles, sweeps clran their den, and carries their carcasses char out ot the system. Thin, at least, has been the effect of the tinnfuye upon my children." A neighbor of Mr. Roulatt, Mr. John Brigtrs, adopts the si-nlc of the reverend certifier, thu.s both giving their most uiiepiiv"cal approval of Inss great specific, alter having wit. nesscd it? operation upon their own children. Let others try it, and be satisfied. gj" Purchasers will be careful to ask for Dr. Mc L.wf.'s Celebrated Vermifuge, and take noneelse. All other Vermifuges, in comparison, are worthless. Dr. M'Lane's genuine Vermifuge, also his Celebrated Li ver Tills, can now be had at all the respectable Drug Stores in the United States and Canada. 24 -2w Liver Complaint. This dangerous and often fatal disease had long baffled the skill of the most eminent p'.ysicians, when the discovery of Dr. M 'Lane's Liver I'ifls solveit the difficulty, and presented to the world i iik Gtui BncilH for that complicated malady, which has attained such widely speo.l eclcbrirv lui Ma certainty of cure. This successful remedy was the result of many years' study, in which the symptoms were narrowly observed, -tid are thus described by the Doctor himself: "Symptoms ok a Diseased Liver. Pain in the right ude, and sometimes in the left, under the edge of the nbs the patient bmg rarely able to lie on the left ; . - ,i i .1.1 I.I...I.. f , ! " I-:.;. SOlIiell. In fact, pa. t Mat distrusts every remedy. Have you any, or all of these symptoms ? If so, you will find a certain remedy in Dr. M'Lane's PilU. Purchasers will be careful to ask for Dr. M Lane's CausaaTaa Lives Pills, and fake none else. There are other Pills, purporting to be Liver Pills, now be fore the public.
